I’ve always been a problem solver. I’m good at translating real world challenges into math, solving them with software, and communicating results in their original context. The beauty in solving problems is not just in writing beautiful code, but in confirming what I build satisfies the original need.

I see problems with the relationship that airlines have with software for flight operations: lengthy RFP processes, long implementations, slow development cycles, poor change management, and poor risk tracing. All of these manifest in low satisfaction for the end user.

I founded Evolve DS because these problems annoy me, and if something annoys me, I have to solve it. I have a decade of experience in operations research and software programming, most of it in flight operations. I’ve designed and implemented SaaS solutions at multiple airlines across the world. Throughout my career I’ve taken on a wide range of responsibilities and had a lot of knowledgeable mentors. That has given me a varied skillset across product design, development, consulting, and people leadership.
